"National ____ Month" posts are concerning food ! How fantastic is that ?
Well this first post is about how October is National Apple Month
Did you know that there are more than 7,000 varieties of apples ? I bet you didn't !
So go ahead and eat as many apples as you want! Also try to do anything that's apple related.
For starters you should go to the grocery store and buy tons of apples. Any kind of apple will do...Braeburn, Cameo, Fuji, Ginger Gold, Granny Smith, Jonathan, Jonagold, Pink Lady, Red Delicious, Gold Delicious, Red Rome, Winesap, McIntosh, Newtown Pippin, Criterion, Elstar, Gala, etc.
Next you can try doing some apple related activities.. like Apple Picking or Apple Bobbing.
Or you can just cook the apples any way you want. There's apple pie, apple tart, caramel apple, apple strudel, apple crumb cake, apple donuts, apple pie ice cream, apple turnovers, applesauce, apple cider, apple cobbler, and any other random apple pastries you can think of will do.
Whatever you do this month just make sure there's an apple involved somewhere.
